POSITION SPECIFICS
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is hiring a Lab Coordinator to coordinate daily lab operations for the Attention and Behavior Clinic.
The lab manager will train all new staff in task design and application and EEG data collection while being available full time to maintain, log, and enhance existing hardware and identify and obtain new hardware as well as program new tasks.
This position will also oversee data analysis and quality, oversee budgets and procurement, draft technical reports for grants and assist with future project development, IRB submissions and publication of study manuscripts. who has appreciable experience in the maintenance and enhancement of EEG hardware, processing software and programming software for task adaptation and development.
The successful candidate will assist with all study roles and be actively involved with participant recruitment, screening and enrollment (including completion of semi structured diagnostic interviews), updating regulatory documents, coordinating study efforts across team members, and collection of EMA survey and neurophysiology data.
Past research experience in behavioral health is required and some experience working with youth in clinical or research settings are preferred. Experience with EEG/ERP data collection as well programming basic cognitive tasks and developing surveys in REDCAP is preferred but not required as these skills can be acquired as part of training.
This is a 40-hour per week position (Monday-Friday), with some evening hours required. Work location is the Penn State Health Medical Group Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, 22 Northeast Drive, Hershey PA.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position will be filled as an Advanced Professional or Senior Professional.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $81,500.00.
