Responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio construction and ongoing management of 1940 Act private equity funds ensuring alignment with mandates, risk and liquidity needs
- Develop and implement investment strategies across primary manager commitments, secondary transactions, and co-investments
- Monitor portfolio exposures, performance attribution, and liquidity forecasting
- Lead due diligence and underwriting for secondaries (LP-led, GP-led, structured), manager selections, and co-investments
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario planning
- Negotiate and structure investment terms with legal, tax, and operations partners
- Design and maintain fund-level cash flow models and forecast capital calls, distributions, and redemptions
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, tax, operations, distribution, and investor relations teams
- Present investment opportunities and portfolio updates to internal investment committees
- Build relationships with private equity sponsors, secondary advisors, and market participants
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, JD, CFA, or CPA)
