Job Summary
Oversees and manages projects that are smaller in scope. Responsible for handling a sub-set of deliverables for a larger scale project with direct supervision from a Project Manager. Responsible for coordinating activities of project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Responsible for creating and maintaining project specific performance reports (Budget, Scope, Schedule). Additional functions include, but are not limited to; creation, maintenance and distribution of overall department reports, such as resource management, dashboard reporting, governance directives and documentation, and resource utilization management.Essential Functions

Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks for smaller initiatives. Establishes work plans and staffing for project activities.
Prepares project documents including project charter (scope), project risk reporting, issues lists, project sign-off, lessons learned and other necessary analysis.
Provides regular updates to leadership on program and project status including the identification of risks, challenges and opportunities.
Assists other project managers with deliverable management on larger scale projects.
Provides support for project request and tracking processes- for management and key stakeholders across the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of study.
Experience - One (1) year of project management, project coordination and/or general business management experience.
In Lieu Of
In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, five (5) years of project management experience may be considered.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and experience managing projects. - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership skills with experience leading and motivating diverse teams of complex projects.
Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan and deliver against financial and resource constraints. - Preferred
Ability to work in a cross functional environment, with many competing priorities. - Preferred
Ability to develop, maintain and revise as necessary, required project reporting. - Preferred
