Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and test NoSQL database systems to support the games console network
- Automate infrastructure and operations using CloudFormation, Ansible, and Consul to enable auto-healing
- Manage and tune NoSQL systems for robustness, scalability, and resilience to failure
- Create, maintain, and review CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes (Git, Jenkins)
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide constructive feedback
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response using CloudWatch and related tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, SRE, QA) to drive production readiness
- Work with messaging and caching systems (Kafka/MSK, Elasticache) and related AWS services
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience developing, deploying, and testing databases for large-scale networks
