PPWI’s compensation philosophy is rooted in equity. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate’s applicable experience and internal equity. The Registered Nurse pay starts from $32.35 per hour.
Additional $1.50 per hour for bilingual (English/Spanish)

PURPOSE of POSITION:
In accordance with Planned Parenthood of WI policies, protocols, and procedures the Registered Nurse provides clinical care for patients under the direction of PPWI’s Medical Director. As a member of a total health care team, the Registered Nurse provides comprehensive teaching and education, direct nursing care, triage of patients, and participates in the implementation of the patient’s care plan.

- Clinical skills to operate basic clinic and lab equipment essential to performing the job, including but not limited to scales, ultrasound machine, HemoCue, blood pressure equipment, etc.
- Ability to read and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Demonstrated ability to manage health-related emergency conditions including independent decision-making.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills desirable.
- CPR certifiable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Wisconsin.
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.
