Skills
- Strong SQL proficiency for querying and data manipulation
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud for dashboarding
- ETL design and implementation experience
- Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing platforms
- Proficient in Python for analysis and machine learning
- Familiarity with Hive and/or Presto
- Experience integrating or analyzing Salesforce data is a plus
- Applied statistics, predictive modeling, and ML model development
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and produce comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Collaborate with data engineering to ensure datasets are available and accurate in Snowflake and Hive.
- Perform ETL and data preprocessing on raw data to prepare analysis- and model-ready datasets.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Monitor, update, and ensure consistency and precision of dashboards and reporting pipelines.
- Apply advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling to analyze complex datasets and generate recommendations.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems and forecast outcomes.
- Present analytical findings and visualizations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the analytics team.
- Stay current with data science best practices and integrate new techniques and technologies.
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent) is required
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
