POSITION OVERVIEW
The Software Developer II is a mid-level role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both legacy and modern web applications. This position requires a solid understanding of the Microsoft development stack and the ability to work independently on moderately complex projects. Reports directly to the Director of Software Engineering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and maintain ASP.NET and Blazor applications.
Design and implement new features and enhancements based on business requirements.
Refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Provide guidance to junior developers and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Able to work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to best practices.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), Blazor, and .NET Core.
Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or MSTest.
Experience in Agile environments and with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira preferred.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
