Skills
- Proven experience designing, training, validating, and deploying ML models in production.
- Strong software engineering and data engineering skills to build production pipelines and APIs.
- Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, and CI/CD for ML.
- Deep understanding of ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming in Python.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services for ML (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of ethical AI, bias mitigation, and regulatory considerations in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Research, design, build, and optimize machine learning and AI models to solve business problems.
- Identify opportunities for AI across teams and recommend solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and outcomes.
- Prepare and preprocess data, perform feature engineering, and establish data pipelines for continuous model improvement.
- Train, validate, and monitor models using appropriate algorithms, metrics, and bias mitigation practices.
- Integrate AI models into production via APIs, microservices, and scalable deployment patterns.
- Maintain and tune deployed models, monitor performance, and implement iterative improvements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Drive governance, ethical AI practices, and compliance for models and data usage.
- Manage and mentor AI teams and oversee multiple AI projects and vendors as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience required.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required.
