Skills
- Strong data analysis and statistical reasoning
- Experience with machine learning and algorithm development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Matlab, C/C++)
- Experience handling large, multidimensional, or complex datasets
- Familiarity with data parsing, cleaning, storage strategies, and provenance tracking
- Ability to communicate technical results to customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and test & evaluation of existing machine learning algorithms and models.
- Design and develop advanced algorithms for modeling physical and autonomous systems.
- Transition algorithms into software applications and real-time embedded systems with engineers.
- Implement algorithms using languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or MATLAB.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and vendors to present analyses, test results, and recommended paths forward.
- Research and identify new methods for machine learning and data analysis applicable to customer problems.
Education
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Physical or Biological Sciences, or a related field
