The Research Associate will support the day-to-day operations of a research laboratory, led by Dr. Brynn Sherman, focused on the cognitive neuroscience of learning and memory. This position plays a key role in managing lab operations and contributing to the collection of behavioral and neuroimaging data, including EEG and fMRI. The Research Associate will work under general supervision, receiving guidance on procedures and techniques, and will collaborate with other lab members to ensure efficient and compliant research practices.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, data science) or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of relevant research experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a research lab setting
Familiarity with IRB protocol management
Experience collecting behavioral, EEG, or fMRI data
Strong organizational and communication skills
Interest in neuroscience, psychology, or a related research area
This is a term position available for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funds.
Compensation: $51,500–$67,250. The offer will be based on internal equity, budget, and candidate qualifications.
