This position will work across several studies as part of Emory’s Prevention Epicenter (PEACH) research program. PEACH is a CDC-funded research program addressing healthcare-associated infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) across the healthcare delivery spectrum. This research program includes a portfolio of research that can influence or change standard practices and fill gaps in current infection prevention guidance. Projects advance transdisciplinary research incorporating human factors engineering, microbiome therapeutics, environmental microbiology, and bioinformatics. This position will act as an epidemiologist for the program which involves developing analytic plans using sound methodological approaches, overseeing analysis and data management, presenting study findings at national conferences, and preparing manuscripts among other duties.
