We’re hiring for two (2) positions located at separate office locations in Medford, Oregon. These offices are approximately 3 miles apart:

Summary of Duties

As a Case Aid, you will:

  • Help case managers provide long-term care to seniors and people with disabilities.
  • Management of/update case files in Oregon ACCESS.
  • Be the main contact for Home Care Workers about vouchers, payments, and general questions.
  • Visit clients at home, help them fill out forms, assist with moves, and connect them to local services.
  • Manage mail, upload documents, schedule appointments, and handle calendars and office communication.
  • Cover front desk duties, issue EBT cards, help with client intake, and support hiring activities.
  • Keep case managers updated, document actions in case files, and help with meetings and team tasks.
  • Adapt to different work styles and expectations of case managers to support team goals and client needs.
  • Assist with fleet management tasks and help track or organize data as needed.  

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience assisting professionals in one or more of the following specialized social program areas.

  • Economically disadvantaged
  • Substance use and dependency
  • Disability Services
  • Child abuse and neglect
  • Juvenile delinquency

Any degree in a related mental health or human services program may substitute for six months of the required experience.

Essential Attributes

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience respecting cultural differences when communicating with customers in person, writing and over the phone.
  • Experience processing confidential and sensitive documents.
  • Experience working in a high production work environment completing multiple tasks with critical, competing deadlines.
  • Experience with data entry and generating reports with a database.

Working Conditions

  • Work will take place in offices, participants' homes, and various community sites.
  • Occasional travel is required for conducting home visits, completing other case related tasks, and for attending meetings or trainings as needed.
  • Rare overnight travel may be required.
  • You will work a professional work week of 40 hours per week, with possible fluctuations based on service needs. During training and trial service you will work Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST.
  • There may be rare, optional compensated overtime, including evenings and weekends.
  • You may work with individuals experiencing trauma or crisis, some who may have difficulty managing their emotions.
  • Quick decision-making may be necessary to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
