Skills
- 5+ years in DevSecOps or similar roles
- Strong AWS architecture and operational experience
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD
- Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, EKS experience
- Scripting in Python for automation
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Deep understanding of security principles and vulnerability management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. person status
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tooling
- Develop, maintain, and review infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Manage and optimize AWS architecture for availability, scalability, and security
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes and EKS
- Write and maintain automation and tooling scripts in Python
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tracking
- Monitor security telemetry and respond to incidents and threats
- Conduct audits and compliance checks against security policies
- Collaborate with developers to embed secure SDLC practices
- Mentor and guide junior DevSecOps engineers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant cloud/security certifications are a plus
