Who You Are

Ontic is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Vice President of Strategic Solutions – Corporate Investigations to lead our efforts in shaping and scaling high-performing Investigations, Insider Risk, and Fraud programs across private and public sectors. This role blends deep domain expertise, strategic sales and client success partnership, and product influence to amplify Ontic’s impact with some of the most sophisticated security and risk teams in the world.

As a trusted advisor and practitioner, you will guide our go-to-market teams to help clients in operationalizing modern investigation programs, influence the development of industry-leading capabilities within Ontic’s platform, and serve as a high-credibility voice with both clients and the broader market.

Key Responsibilities

Accelerate Strategic Sales

Partner with go-to-market teams to support strategic opportunities by bringing consultative insight and domain authority to the sales process. Act as a trusted expert to prospective clients, translating complex investigation needs into scalable solutions with Ontic.

Provide the sales teams with a subject matter expert who can meet with prospective clients, provide deep program expertise and real world examples of how to best leverage Ontic to advance their programs.

Support expansion by leveraging practices to consult with current clients who use minimal Ontic services to visualize, communicate and implement an expanded usage of Ontic to advance their programs.

Accelerate deal momentum and differentiation by sharing practical examples, case studies, and best practices drawn from lived experience.

Measures of success:

Revenue growth and deal efficiency from new and existing clients:

  • Improve deal size with named strategic accounts

  • Accelerate deal velocity for strategic deals

Drive Customer Retention and Expansion

Work closely with client success and sales to proactively support key accounts—offering hands-on consulting, strategy refreshes, and optimization guidance.

Inspire expansion by helping clients envision broader Ontic usage to solve adjacent problems and mature their investigative capabilities.

Cultivate stickiness by aligning Ontic with measurable business outcomes and tangible program wins.

Utilize subject matter expertise, to retain current client base by offering gratis consulting services and best practice lessons learned to advance investigations and insider threat programs, overcome common obstacles, ideate meaningful metrics and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Measures of success:

Client retention for named accounts.

Support Market Credibility & Go-to-Market Strategy

Contribute to thought leadership content, workshops, and frameworks that elevate Ontic’s brand and educate the market on modern investigations programs.

Represent Ontic externally through speaking engagements, webinars, analyst briefings, and client-facing roundtables.

Assist in shaping our narrative for industry analysts and other influencers through real-world insights and programmatic acumen.

Collaborate with Marketing to develop client-facing educational content, user guides, and campaign assets that reflect best practices and Ontic's point of view.

Lead or contribute to premium content efforts (e.g., certificate programs, roadshows, strategy guides) to drive demand and expand brand visibility.

Conduct seminars and certificate courses designed to bring new clients to Ontic. This could be especially successful regarding insider threat as it is a growing field. There is a strong desire for training across the industry.

Design & Evangelize Investigation Programs

Lead the development of a programmatic approach to building corporate investigations, insider risk, fraud, and workplace violence programs—balancing high-level strategy with client-specific guidance.

Equip clients to navigate key challenges such as metrics development, stakeholder alignment, and communicating impact to executives.

Deliver value through advisory workshops, maturity assessments, and knowledge transfer engagements.

Shape the Product Roadmap

Leverage expertise in insider threat, cyber-physical convergence, evidence management, and GRC to provide real world insights to help Ontic build best-in-class, out-of-the-box software.

Actively collaborate with the Investigations, Incidents & Case Management (IICM) POD to influence design, functionality, and scale-readiness.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

A respected practitioner and executive in Corporate Investigations, Insider Risk, or Fraud—combining strategic leadership with hands-on experience.

Demonstrated success in designing, deploying, and optimizing investigation programs at scale—ideally across sectors such as manufacturing, tech, and finance.

A technology forward leader & practitioner, who's also had previous experience deploying the Ontic platform or modern SaaS software at scale globally.

A recent practitioner of large enterprise global investigations programs and expertise in the federal / government public sector.

Comfortable influencing CSOs, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional partners with credibility, empathy, and clarity.

An understanding of how to sell a software consolidation (unified platform) story internally.

Experience in product advisory or enterprise software deployment is highly valued, especially within integrated case management platforms.

Passionate about shaping the future of investigations and elevating the professionals who lead these programs.
