WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this high-growth, highly visible position, you will serve as both quality supervisor and quality engineer for our Stainless-Steel manufacturing plant.

  • Ensure production lines meet customer requirements by following accurate processes and procedures.

Quality Engineering Technical Leadership:

  • Manage internal non-conformances (production NCRs) and external complaints. Evaluate suspect materials and work with internal and external teams to quickly identify and resolve quality issues using Six Sigma methodologies for root-cause analysis.
  • Develop and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

  • Define and establish in-process quality control tasks to ensure manufacturing capability and product reliability.
  • Lead and support external quality system audits, and participate in process and product quality audits with follow-up actions.
  • Apply engineering fundamentals and Lean methodologies to improve manufacturing quality.
  • Support APQP activities such as PFMEA, Control Plan, GR&R, Capability Studies, First Article Inspection (FAI) etc. for launching new products and maintaining proper revisions of these processes and documents for existing products.

YOU HAVE:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Significant customer management experience, with the ability to communicate directly with customers and suppliers on complex issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Experience with cross-plant contamination and establishing containment and disposition criteria for non-conforming products.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal direction.
  • Experience with process management, organizational change, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and quality systems preferred.
