Position Overview
The Department of Physician Assistant Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty member to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This clinical-track position encompasses teaching, service, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the department's mission of preparing competent, compassionate, and knowledgeable physician assistants while complying with ARC-PA accreditation standards.

Minimum Qualifications PA Candidates:
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Current NCCPA certification and NYS licensure (or eligible) in the State of New York.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a practicing PA.
• Demonstrated commitment to education, scholarship, and service.
Physician Candidates:
• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Licensure in the State of New York (or eligible)
• Active ABMS or AOA specialty board certification
• At least three years of full-time clinical experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous teaching experience in a PA program or other health professions education.
• Familiarity with ARC-PA accreditation processes and standards.
• Experience in curriculum design, student remediation, and program evaluation
• Serving as a clinical preceptor may be considered in place of previous teaching experience.
