Product Pathfinding Engineer- HIG-TPG

Micron Technology is searching for its next Product Pathfinding Engineer on the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) technology team!

In this role, you will be tasked with the development of JEDEC-HBM or alternative Near Memory DRAM solutions! Additionally, you will be responsible for the implementation of innovative 2.5D and 3D solutions, including HBM, from an electrical and packaging standpoint. Product Engineers at Micron are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments. This role is critical to Micron's mission to be the most efficient producer of DRAM memory.

In HIG (Heterogeneous Integration Group), we innovate and integrate end-to-end groundbreaking front-end and backend processes with groundbreaking design, debugging various tests, and qualification techniques to develop the lowest power per bit solutions to improve customer experience in the field of ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence). 

What’s Encouraged Daily

• The PE Pathfinding team will start collaborations with customers, TD, Test, and Manufacturing to capture key requirements and findings to ensure the success of next-generation product development.
• Collaborate with PE organizations like System Engineering, Component Validation, and Media Health teams to plan for future technology changes and test coverage for the Alpha product.
• Ensure all silicon findings are resolved in line with the encouraged timelines for issue closure for the designs your team is handling.
• Forge strong alliances with Design, Verification, Product Architecture, System Compatibility Group, and Silicon Strategy teams to deliver products in an effective and efficient manner.
• Identify and orchestrate ongoing improvement initiatives in the realm of design readiness to ensure swift implementation of learned lessons.
• Collaborate with Product Leadership Team to integrate design readiness into product strategy.

How to Qualify

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• High-speed datapath and logic design knowledge.
• Strong circuit analysis and debug skills.
• A record of performance excellence for current/previous areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside the department.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven communication and presentation skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills and a track record as a strong collaborator.
