The FORTNA Leadership and Development Rotation (LADR) Program is a 1-year, rotational program committed to the accelerated development of entry-level Professional Services and Engineering talent with a passion for technology, automation, and professional services coupled with a drive for exceptional client service. Through intense training and a variety of business-critical assignments, technical and business skills are developed. LADR graduates have the technical and business foundation to make innovative contributions that help our clients be successful in a dynamic world. The program consists of the following functions: Operations, Commercial, Engineering, IT, Finance, and Software Development. Program members are full-time Fortna Associates and work in rotational assignments to accelerate their development and assimilation into the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
LADR program members at FORTNA experience technically challenging rotations that are driven by opportunities to solve our clients’ toughest distribution problems.
Overview of Department and Responsibilities
Understand the org structure and functional responsibilities
Understand the overall purpose of the department and its teams
How is the department measured and what does success look like
Accounting Track
Assist accounting teams in the monthly close process
Assist in:
Creation and preparation of the monthly reporting package
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including any related research
Implementation of process enhancements including updating any documentation as needed
Learn and support the process for taxes, inventories, receivables and payables
Commercial Finance and FP&A Track
Assist in the creation of the monthly reporting package to be utilized by Executive Leadership
Track payment terms and milestones for potential and booked projects to assist in accurately forecasting FORTNA’s cash position
Through variance analysis, analyze monthly results vs. our multi-year forecasts for review by Executive Leadership
Project Controls Track
Assist in the forecasting of large multi-million dollar projects
Learn the methodologies behind FORTNA’s revenue recognition process and assist in measuring the impacts it has across the company
Create and update models to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree with evidence of strong performance in supply chain, business
Excellent analytical and research skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
