Overview

Ensure product complaints are effectively reviewed, documented, investigated, and CAPAs initiated, when necessary. Also assist with product evaluation as needed

Responsibilities

Essential

• Accountable for maintaining consumer complaint data and files.
• Review complaint report information for product defects and/or adverse reactions.
• Contact associates in other departments to obtain or provide complaint related information.
• Review complaint documentation to determine if an investigation or CAPA is necessary.
• Conduct thorough investigation of complaints, as required, including providing assistance to vendors, Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing and other groups as applicable.
• Review returned products for consumer complaint reports and record product review results.

• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

Essential

• Associates degree (or better) in an applied science or mathematics.
• A working knowledge of Federal Regulations regarding the manufacturing and distribution of drug, food, and nutritional supplement products.
• Ability to follow written procedures and policies.
• Excellent computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet, and databases.
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
• Proficient mathematical or statistical skills.
• Ability to organize and coordinate projects and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced setting with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to work and communicate interdepartmentally.
• Self-starter, task oriented.

• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
