POSITION OVERVIEW

Salary Range:$110,000-$130,000

The exact salary will vary based on years of experience and the level of proficiency in both hard and soft skills. It is uncommon for someone to be hired at the highest point of the salary range for their position. Sponsorship: Sponsorship is not available for this position. 

Working Location: Candidates with 3 years of experience are eligible for in-office, hybrid ( highly preferred),or fully remote schedules. Relocation subsidies available. At least 4 visits (per year) to the Chicago headquarters are required, including the final round interview. Please note candidates must be able, willing and excited to travel.

*If you are based in the Chicagoland area, you’ll be required to work onsite for your first 90 days. After that, your schedule (in-office, hybrid, or remote) will be determined in alignment with performance and team needs.

Please note that ALIS will cover most expenses related to interview travel. Candidates residing in border states within a four-hour drive or less will be reimbursed for mileage.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Ensure uptime and performance through monitoring, incident response, and preventive measures.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software releases.

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and data.

• Manage Azure infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

• Automate processes, optimize costs, and ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams.

• Stay current with Azure, .NET, and DevOps best practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science 

• 3+ years as an Azure Cloud Engineer, with strong knowledge of Azure security, services (IaaS, PaaS, networking), and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git/Bitbucket).

• Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Services

• Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and Azure IaC (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).

• Hands-on with Docker, container orchestration, and Azure monitoring tools.

• Familiarity with .NET build processes.
