Lead-IOM CNP Tech (Work Unit Only)
Manages the intraoperative monitoring component of the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory. Coordinates the daily surgical monitoring activities and scheduling. Completes performance reviews for the IONM technologists in collaboration with the laboratory supervisor. To carry out intraoperative monitoring of EEG or EMG and Evoked Potentials during surgical procedures assisting the surgeon in prevention of neurological deficits. To perform routine procedures in the Clinic or hospital EEG, EMG or EP laboratories when not in the operating room. Must have demonstrated leadership, communication, problem solving and organizational ability. Must be highly organized, efficient and able to work independently.
This role is a 3-year rotation, and at the conclusion of this period, the current occupant will return to a technologist position in the same reporting unit.
