Summary
Provides financial and statistical information to management, staff, and external customers in compliance with internal and external requirements. Maintains financial records and systems in accordance with GAAP and the Healthcare Audit Guide.
Job Duties
- Prepares journal vouchers and other source inputs into the general ledger and reconciliations of general ledger inputs.
- Assists and supports in the preparation of the monthly financial statement package.
- Performs monthly account analysis reconciling of balance sheets, general ledger inputs, and bank accounts.
- Analyzes financial statement trends such as revenue, costs, receivables, and payables.
- Assists in development and production of monthly internal & departmental financial statements and reports.
- Ensures the development and modification of accounting procedures and policies are kept current.
- Supports external financial statement audits.
- Operates and maintains the financial and statically computer systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
- 1 year of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Basic analytical ability.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
