- Experience with containerization (Docker) and virtualization technologies
- Experience designing and implementing automation for build and release workflows
- Strong communication skills to gather requirements and train teams
Responsibilities
- Support and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, automation, and release management
- Define and implement automation for operational activities and release processes
- Improve reproducibility of build and test runs via OS configuration management, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Contribute to building and scaling a team of Build Infrastructure Engineers
- Analyze and suggest improvements to existing build systems and pipelines
- Unify development pipelines, build processes, testing, and deployment strategies across teams
- Collaborate closely with application developers and participate in architectural discussions
- Advocate DevOps culture emphasizing automation, self-service, and engineering best practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Or equivalent practical experience in software engineering / DevOps
