Job Overview:
Our Corporate Systems team is responsible for providing technology services to Corporate Finance and Human Capital domains. This includes the management of a variety of elements, such as software development, support and maintenance.
As a Software Engineer, you will be working with non-production and production systems on cloud or on-prem. You will help to develop top quality services, maintain existing applications, increase automation, ensure systems are reliable and scalable and proactively resolve issues. You will take an engineering approach to infrastructure and operations, solve business problems with software and automation, take ownership of the implemented applications and ensure that it meets the needs of the product with a particular focus on data security and resilience.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer’s primary function is to provide tech support to Corporate Systems, completing assigned tasks on time, resolving or escalating issues in a timely and professional manner over multiple channels of communication.
Secondarily, this role will support and participate in internal IT activities such as Agile ceremonies, team meetings, software rollout and drive user adoption to new technologies, and assist in building a robust knowledge base that we be leveraged as we introduce automation and AI.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, or related field required
Good understanding of at least one programming language (i.e .Net, C++, Python or Java)
Good understanding of database technology (i.e. SQL, RDS,)
Good understanding of networking technology (i.e. DNS, SSL)
Basic understanding of cloud concepts (i.e AWS, Azure or GCP)
Core Competencies:
Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
Preferences:
Experiences such as an internship, hackathon, research project or related experience preferred
