About Leap Health
Leap Health is one of the fastest-growing benefits solutions and a category-defining pioneer in employer specialty pharmacy. We are reshaping how life-changing therapies are delivered and financed, ensuring patients get the treatment they need while employers finally get a fair deal.
Specialty drugs and infusions represent nearly 10% of all healthcare spend and are the fastest-growing cost category for employers. Leap tackles this challenge with a novel approach: eliminating hidden markups, expanding access to high-quality infusion providers, and bringing clarity and fairness to how therapies are priced and paid for.
We’re proud to partner with numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading TPAs. Each patient we serve creates immediate ROI: lower costs, improved access, and better care. Join us as we redefine what’s possible in specialty care.
The Opportunity
After a client launches with us, one of the most important challenges becomes effectively identifying and engaging eligible patients. This requires thoughtful outreach, precise targeting, and a deep understanding of the barriers that affect patient behavior. When activation is done well, patients enter care sooner, experience fewer delays, and receive the support needed to navigate complex therapy programs.
We’re hiring a Director, Member Growth and Activation to own this function as an individual contributor and cross-functional coordinator. This person will design and execute experiments, develop strategies to reach the right patients at the right time, and continuously optimize the activation workflow. They will work closely with Clinical Operations (who directly engage patients and providers) and Engineering (who enable the data and tooling that make activation possible).
This role is both analytical and creative, with a hands-on focus that is essential to elevating the patient experience.
What You’ll Do
Develop and refine outreach strategies that effectively reach, educate, and activate eligible patients
Create targeting frameworks that prioritize patients based on eligibility, clinical urgency, likelihood of response, and client-specific nuances
Craft and test messaging that resonates with patients and reduces friction in the activation journey
Build structured, statistically sound experiments to evaluate channels, messaging, workflows, and timing
Partner with Engineering and Data to ensure experiments can be executed cleanly and measured reliably
Translate findings into actionable improvements in outreach and activation workflows
Build dashboards and reporting that track activation performance across all stages of the funnel
Define key KPIs for engagement, activation, time-to-activation, and workflow efficiency
Use data to identify bottlenecks, uncover patterns, and continuously improve patient outreach
Collaborate closely with Clinical Ops to launch and track experiments
Work with Engineering to develop or refine tools, data pipelines, segmentation logic, and automation that support high-quality patient activation
Surface insights from patient interactions and data trends to both teams to inform continuous improvement
Ensure every outreach touchpoint is empathetic, clear, and aligned with patient needs
Develop materials that simplify complex information and help patients understand the value of engaging with our solution
Look for opportunities to remove friction from the activation process and make the experience more supportive and intuitive
Who You Are
6–10+ years of experience in patient/consumer engagement, growth marketing, or similar data-driven roles
Experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, digital health, or a B2B2C environment strongly preferred
Strong experimental mindset—comfortable designing tests, interpreting data, and iterating quickly
Highly analytical, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and actions
Creative problem solver who enjoys developing new approaches to reach and motivate patients
Skilled in cross-functional coordination, especially with clinical and technical teams
Comfortable operating as an IC who takes full ownership of a function
Clear communicator who can explain the “why” behind decisions and drive alignment across teams
Motivated by improving patient access to meaningful, high-impact therapies
