Skills
- 5+ years building production ML systems
- Strong experience with ranking algorithms (collaborative filtering, deep learning, LTR)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Ray)
- Experience deploying and optimizing low-latency model serving
- A/B testing and experiment analysis
- Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL, and cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy ML models serving 100M+ predictions daily
- Develop ranking algorithms that balance relevance, diversity, and revenue
- Implement real-time personalization features with <50ms latency
- Run A/B tests and analyze model performance against business KPIs
- Optimize models for production: latency, throughput, and cost
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify personalization opportunities
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
