Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Ad Performance
Skills
- 5+ years software development & ML engineering; 3+ years in advertising systems
- Proven experience optimizing ad performance and driving measurable KPIs
- Expertise in recommendation systems, advertising algorithms, NLP, or computer vision
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Familiarity with distributed data processing (Spark, Ray) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with production model serving, feature engineering, and monitoring
- Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale advertising algorithms that improve engagement and revenue
- Build production-ready ML systems for real-time ad decisioning handling millions of requests per day
- Apply advanced ML methods (e.g., reinforcement learning, deep ranking) to ad performance
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, feature stores, and model serving infrastructure
- Plan and run rigorous experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to measure impact on business KPIs
- Monitor models and pipelines for reliability, drift, and performance; implement alerts and remediation
- Collaborate across product, data, and engineering teams globally to launch high-impact ad features
- Evaluate and integrate emerging ML technologies when they provide competitive advantage
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a related field preferred
