Skills
- 3+ years professional software development experience with .NET Core/C# or Python
- 3+ years building secure and scalable REST APIs
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React or Angular) and TypeScript
- Experience designing and maintaining relational databases (Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks (xUnit, Jest, Moq)
- Experience with OAuth2 authentication and authorization flows
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Awareness of HIPAA and healthcare data compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure backend services using .NET (C#) and/or Python in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integrations with web, mobile, and third-party services.
- Develop responsive frontends using React or Angular for patient-facing and internal applications.
- Architect and operate scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS using functions, queues, storage, and managed databases.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to support automated testing and deployments.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, Clinical, Compliance, and QA teams to gather requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in sprint planning, peer code reviews, and technical design discussions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field is a plus
