We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and support software solutions that power Labcorp’s mission of advancing health. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career technologist to grow within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming practices.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and performance.
Contribute to the development of APIs, services, and system integrations that support Labcorp’s data and technology platforms.
Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Document technical processes, workflows, and best practices.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for innovation and improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with databases, APIs, and version control tools (Git/GitHub).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Internship or project experience in software development, data engineering, or cloud environments.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with modern frameworks, tools, and DevOps practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing concepts.

Pay range: 70,000-85,000
