KPFF Seattle’s Transportation Team focuses on designing infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across the region. We work on a wide range of transit and transportation projects, including roadway and trail improvements, fish passage enhancements, and major infrastructure efforts throughout the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest. Our team supports projects from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, and construction. We collaborate closely with public agencies, transit authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that improve mobility, restore natural systems, and strengthen the built environment.
Located in downtown Seattle, our office is seeking an experienced Senior Stormwater Engineer to support major projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position will support transportation projects and associated hydraulic elements, primarily stormwater design. This position requires the candidate to utilize their expertise in water resources engineering related projects, including stormwater facilities design; surface water hydrology and hydraulic analysis and design; culvert and bridge hydraulics; stream and habitat restoration analysis and design; preparation of engineering and construction plans, specifications, and estimates; and coordination with regulatory agencies for project permitting. It will be the responsibility of the position to perform engineering design and to provide a high-quality product to our clients.

The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate is $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
