💰 Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 per year
Our client is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead automation and controls engineering projects. This role requires deep expertise in control systems configuration, DCS/PLC development, and field instrumentation. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading control system design, configuration, and testing
- Developing and optimizing PLC/DCS systems, HMI graphics, and control narratives
- Reverse engineering obsolete control logic and creating documentation
- Ensuring safety, compliance, and quality control in all automation projects
- Working closely with clients to understand and address project needs
- Supporting loop checks, FAT/SAT execution, startup, and commissioning
What They’re Looking For:
✅ Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in control systems engineering & automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Rockwell / Allen Bradley expertise, including programming & HMI graphics
- Strong P&ID development and PLC/DCS enclosure layout knowledge
- Proven experience in lead engineering roles & managing multiple projects
✅ Bonus Skills (Preferred):
- Plant PAX & Batch system knowledge
- Experience with legacy system upgrades & reverse engineering
- Strong technical writing & documentation skills
