KIPP Baltimore is seeking a Paraeducator for its elementary school who will assist teachers with classroom instruction and support student learning in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: Assist teachers in planning lessons, implement instructional activities, support classroom management, and individual student assessments while promoting a positive learning environment.
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work with children, understanding of student motivation, and proficiency in English and basic arithmetic are required.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, at least 48 college credits or successful completion of the MSDE Para Pro Assessment, and one year of experience working with children.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $30,000 - $45,000.

Assists teachers and school administrators in planning and providing classroom instruction to students. Works with students individually and in small groups implementing lesson plans, assessing performance, reinforcing instruction, motivating learning, and assisting with classroom management. Assists teachers in coordinating instructional activities with other teachers, resource teachers, parents, and service providers. Employees in this job class are required to be highly qualified by No Child Left Behind (NCLB) criteria.
