Kiddom is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams focused on enhancing the K-12 educational platform through innovative solutions and modern technologies.
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage engineering teams while driving the development of systems and processes that support scalability and efficiency; mentor and inspire team members; participate in architecture and product discussions.
Skills: Expertise in Golang, Python, Node.js, and JS/Typescript; strong experience in agile management and customer-centric product development; ability to navigate and lead in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Qualifications: 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years of management experience; ability to make informed decisions based on team needs and technical requirements; a growth mindset and adaptability to change.
Location: This position is based in San Francisco and requires 2-3 days in the office each week.
Compensation: $220000 - $250000 / Annually

You’ll work with modern technologies, including Python, Golang, Node.js, JS/Typescript, Kubernetes, and AWS, while solving challenging technical problems that directly impact educators, administrators, and students. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire change across the entire engineering organization as we adapt to new technologies and AI capabilities that make us and our users more efficient. This role can be based in NYC or San Francisco and requires 2-3 days in office.

Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
