Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience working in UNIX/Linux environments, integrating automated tests into CI/CD, and having excellent documentation and communication skills for effective collaboration.
Location: Remote position available for candidates located in the continental US, Hawaii, and Canada, with no designated office requirement.
Compensation: $127423 - $159279 / Annually

THE ROLE
As a Senior Quality Engineer at Khan Academy, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based products used by schools and learners to improve educational outcomes. You will engage in both manual testing and test automation, developing and maintaining automated tests to detect regressions while also performing comprehensive manual testing of new features. Working within a cross-functional product development team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and support teams to advocate for exceptional user experiences through all stages of the product design and development lifecycle. Your strong communication skills, keen eye, creativity, and experience in automated test development at all levels (frontend, backend, white box, and black box) will be key to your success in this role.

The target salary range for this position is $127,423 - $159,279 USD / $172,188 - $215,235 CAN. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
