Quality Assurance Manager

This role is a hands-on, strategic opportunity to lead and elevate quality assurance practices across software development lifecycles in cloud and on-premises environments. The Quality Assurance Manager will define QA standards, oversee testing teams, and ensure high-quality releases across diverse technologies including Python, C++, ColdFusion, NodeJS, and React. This position drives regression, end-to-end, and performance testing while collaborating closely with engineering, product, compliance, and security teams. The ideal candidate combines leadership and technical expertise, bringing strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They will implement QA processes, manage test data strategies, optimize automation, and maintain regulatory and security compliance. With a focus on quality, consistency, and scalability, this role directly impacts product reliability and user satisfaction.

• Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices across on-premises, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Oversee QA and UAT teams, coordinating testing activities and providing hands-on support for test execution, defect validation, and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain regression, end-to-end (E2E), and performance testing strategies for applications and integrations.
• Manage test data strategies, including creation, refresh, masking, and versioning to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security.
• Lead the adoption and optimization of test automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor release readiness, identify quality and performance risks, and provide data-driven insights for go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and external vendors to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with hands-on expertise in software testing for cloud and on-premises applications.
• Proficiency in regression, E2E, and performance testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools, including Jira.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Firebase) and modern software development technologies (C++, ColdFusion, NodeJS, React).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred certifications: ISTQB, CSTE, or other QA certifications.
