KBR is seeking an NS4R Software Developer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA.
This job supports SSC within the Joint Terminal Engineering Office (JTEO) as a developer on the National Security SATCOM Systems Synchronization Roadmap (NS4R) software application. The NS4R application is hosted on Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) MilCloud and requires close coordination with DISA to resolve issues in a timely manner. In support of JTEO, duties include maintaining the NS4R database including security upgrades, development and implementation of enhancements to the NS4R tool, providing user held desk support, maintaining user accounts, providing NS4R database backups, maintaining configuration control and backups of the source code, support JTEO to evaluate and address security requirements and perform troubleshooting. The job requires the ability to assist Level 1 POCs with data entries and identify and correct incomplete or questionable data entries and management of the NS4R MilCloud Virtual Data Center (Memory/Storage/CPUs etc.). This also includes development and installation of patches to the Operating System and Data Base Server. As needed, you can expect to train Government and FFRDC personnel on the use and maintenance of the NS4R tool and database.
The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force’s acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. Required:
Active Secret clearance required for this position
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Experience working with military or DOW civilian clients and managing professional relationships
Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Capable in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
2+ years of experience across the following software suites: Angular, Java, Microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, VMWare
Desired:
5+ years of experience across the following software suites: Angular, Java, Microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, VMWare
2+ years of experience in SATCOM
INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification
Basic Compensation: $99,000-$123,000 in California and $90,000-$113,000 in Colorado
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
