Technical Documentation Writer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Writer to create developer-focused content that is clear, actionable, and technically accurate. In this role, you will produce tutorials, API references, getting-started guides, and blog posts to help developers quickly adopt and effectively use the product. The position offers the chance to work closely with product and development teams, translating complex technical concepts into approachable, concise documentation. Ideal candidates thrive in autonomous environments, have a strong technical background, and can take projects from ideation to publication while ensuring clarity and precision. Your work will directly support developer adoption, improve user experience, and enhance overall product success.

Accountabilities

• Audit, rewrite, and maintain existing technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, and usability.
• Develop API references, tutorials, and guides tailored to developer needs.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with product updates.
• Conduct hands-on exercises to simulate developer workflows and identify documentation gaps.
• Create blog posts and other content that communicates complex concepts in a straightforward, developer-friendly style.
• Continuously improve documentation based on developer feedback and usage metrics.

• Strong software development background, preferably in web or full-stack development.
• Proven experience in technical writing for SaaS or API-based platforms.
• Ability to structure and evaluate documentation from a developer’s perspective.
• Previous experience in Developer Relations (DevRel) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise, and approachable style.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Comfortable collaborating with fast-paced, cross-functional teams and handling multiple projects.
