System Design Integration Engineer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will work on high-impact aerospace programs, applying systems engineering principles to design, integrate, and analyze complex propulsion and airframe systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subsystem engineers and technical leaders, to resolve technical challenges, define requirements, and deliver innovative system solutions. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. Accountabilities

• Lead and influence interdisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering problems and deliver whole-system solutions.
• Apply systems engineering principles, tools, and modeling techniques to optimize design, integration, and performance of propulsion and airframe systems.
• Coordinate across stakeholders to define, manage, and meet interdependencies between subsystems and overall system requirements.
• Build, assess, and validate system architecture models to support technical decisions, including risk assessments and safety reviews.
• Represent the propulsion systems function to internal and external stakeholders, providing technical support and analysis throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support gated reviews, flight clearance, certification, and technical audits to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Develop test plans, define requirements, and verify products, systems, and components using analytical and simulation tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Strong proficiency with systems engineering tools, system integration, and modeling software (e.g., NX, ANSYS).
• Experience with analytical and programming tools such as Matlab, Python, Visual Basic, PERL, or C++.
• Knowledge of control system hardware, performance methods, or similar engineering evaluation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of determining root causes and corrective actions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in team environments.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute work across multiple groups while meeting project timelines.
• Preferred experience with requirements management and post-processing of test data.
