As a Staff Product Designer in Web3, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of decentralized applications and blockchain experiences. You will lead end-to-end design initiatives for Web3 products, collaborating closely with engineers, protocol developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and secure user experiences. This role requires translating complex blockchain mechanics, smart contracts, and token economics into clear, user-friendly interfaces. You will mentor other designers, advocate for design system consistency, and ensure that every interaction balances user empowerment with protocol integrity. Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, you will drive design excellence and influence the adoption of decentralized platforms, creating experiences that are both engaging and reliable. Your work will directly impact millions of users navigating the evolving world of digital assets and decentralized finance.
Accountabilities:
• Lead the design of Web3 initiatives, including decentralized services, DApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and protocol teams to align design with technical constraints and blockchain requirements.
• Develop and maintain flexible, high-security design systems that support innovation and trust in decentralized interfaces.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate new features to improve user workflows such as wallet connection, transaction signing, and token interactions.
• Mentor and guide other designers in Web3 principles, UX best practices, and security considerations.
• Translate complex technical and cryptographic concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Facilitate clear communication of design vision across cross-functional and distributed teams.
• 7–9 years of experience as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years as a Staff Product Designer or equivalent leadership role.
• Deep understanding and passion for Web3, decentralized systems, and digital asset management.
• Proven experience designing high-stakes interfaces for wallets, DeFi platforms, or blockchain applications.
• Ability to use data, on-chain metrics, and protocol analytics to inform design decisions.
• Strong communicator capable of simplifying complex blockchain concepts for mainstream audiences.
• Experience mentoring designers and fostering skill development in decentralized UX.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes in a dynamic Web3 environment.
• Demonstrated collaboration with engineering teams, smart contract developers, and protocol architects.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystems is essential.
