This role combines technical expertise with strategic oversight, ensuring product designs meet both internal and regulatory standards. You will collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, production, and purchasing teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Lead the design, development, and validation of new and existing products, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
• Construct and test models and prototypes, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations through detailed reports.
• Write and maintain product specifications, design documentation, and engineering standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support product design decisions.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in projects, production, or service stages.
• Conduct Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize reliability, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturable designs and alignment with company quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership in material selection, design analysis, and testing throughout the product lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant engineering experience with a track record of leading design teams and managing projects.
• Proficiency in CAD, CAE, and FEA tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong capabilities in tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed technical analysis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and mentoring junior engineers.
• Minimal travel required for project support, training, or conferences.
