Software Product Owner (Remote - US)

Accountabilities

• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and development groups.
• Translate client requests into clear, actionable specifications for software enhancements.
• Analyze requests critically and propose optimal system solutions beyond the immediate ask.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Subject Matter Experts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in hands-on testing to ensure delivered features meet business and technical requirements.
• Monitor post-release performance and suggest ongoing improvements.
• Develop deep subject matter expertise in operational systems and industry-specific workflows.

• 7+ years of experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role influencing product delivery.
• Proven ability to analyze client needs and define optimal solutions.
• Experience with SaaS or enterprise-level platforms and working in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, MS Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance, premium finance, or financial services is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
