Software Developer II (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of PowerPlan, Inc. We are currently looking for a Software Developer II in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-value enterprise software projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications and shared services that support complex business workflows, reporting, and data visualization. The position requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product experts and end-users, to ensure software solutions deliver measurable value. You will work on full-stack development projects, integrating modern front-end frameworks with robust back-end systems, while embracing Agile methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation. Ideal candidates are inquisitive, proactive, and motivated to continuously improve their craft while contributing to impactful solutions.

Accountabilities:

·         Develop, maintain, and enhance proprietary software programs that provide business value and support enterprise workflows.

·         Collaborate with subject matter experts, users, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·         Work within Agile Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, and test automation.

·         Participate in designing and implementing cloud-native applications, microservices, and shared services components for reporting, data visualization, and business process integration.

·         Understand system architecture to ensure your contributions align with overall project scope and technical design.

·         Prepare and deliver presentations on project status and development progress to leadership.

·         Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies through feedback, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

·         2–5 years of software development experience in enterprise or SaaS applications.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·         Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Blazor, Javascript, Typescript, CSS).

·         Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and continuous integration (CI) tools.

·         Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL) and data analytics/AI tools (e.g., Databricks, GitHub Copilot).

·         Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in both onsite and remote environments, adapting to flexible schedules.
