This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer in the United States.

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be the technical hero for customers facing complex challenges, providing hands-on guidance and clear communication throughout the support lifecycle. You will troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues involving modern cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and GitHub, collaborating closely with engineering teams to prevent recurring problems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will also help shape best practices for support processes and contribute to a knowledge base that empowers both colleagues and customers. Accountabilities:
  • Triage, investigate, and resolve complex customer issues with modern cloud-native technologies.
  • Escalate and coordinate with engineering teams when needed to address critical issues.
  • Maintain excellent customer communication, keeping clients informed and exceeding SLA expectations.
  • Translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Document new issues, solutions, and updates to internal knowledge bases.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize your support queue to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Provide feedback on bugs, feature requests, and product improvements to engineering and product teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.
  • Share expertise, mentor team members, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers with a calm and confident approach.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver top-tier customer experiences.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and customer success teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Helm Charts, Terraform, and other DevOps tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS EKS experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software supply chain security, vulnerability scanning, or security frameworks is a bonus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or KCSA are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience in technical support or engineering.
