Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain backend-focused full-stack applications with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: solution design, system architecture, coding, testing, code reviews, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality functionality.
• Write tests and maintain code quality to ensure reliability before merging and releasing.
• Mentor team members on performance optimization, database design, and coding best practices.
• Monitor application performance, diagnose issues, and implement fixes proactively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and application architecture.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of backend performance optimization and SQL database design.
• Experience writing tests and ensuring code quality across the stack.
• Ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced engineers is a plus.

• Annual salary range: $125,000–$145,000, based on experience.
• Up to 10% annual bonus eligibility.
