Senior Front End Engineer (React/Typescript)

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will play a central role in designing and delivering high-quality software that supports a large-scale, high-traffic platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build intuitive features, improve performance, and solve complex technical challenges. This position requires strong expertise in React and TypeScript, with an eye for clean, maintainable code and scalable solutions. You will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to best practices, and drive impactful improvements across the ecosystem. This is a remote-friendly role, offering flexibility while engaging in high-visibility projects that shape the user experience for thousands of daily users.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end features using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, optimization, and scaling challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in code quality, maintainability, and style.
• Contribute to technical planning from product ideation through deployment.
• Mentor and support engineers across multiple levels, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
• Drive solutions for complex product and technical challenges with minimal guidance.

• 5–8 years of relevant front-end engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React/JSX, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience owning product and technical challenges to successful business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative team setting.
• Experience documenting processes and creating technical guides.
• Nice to have: background in startups, interest in the fantasy sports industry, and familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux/Unix, or shell scripting.
