As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a globally distributed team responsible for developing and maintaining the core framework and key software components of a high-performance trading platform. You will drive engineering excellence, build scalable systems capable of handling heavy transaction volumes, and ensure the security and reliability of critical infrastructure. This role involves mentoring engineers, guiding technical strategy, and collaborating closely with product, operations, and cross-functional teams. You will shape the architecture of services, contribute to the product roadmap, and solve complex challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate thrives in remote, globally distributed teams and has a passion for high-quality software and modern engineering practices.

Accountabilities:

·         Lead a distributed team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight.

·         Design, implement, and maintain microservices and high-performance systems using Rust.

·         Develop scalable, low-latency, and secure platforms that support trading operations.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on product roadmap objectives and operational priorities.

·         Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with best practices for high-volume trading environments.

·         Drive technical strategy, process improvements, and adoption of modern engineering practices within the team.

·         Communicate progress, risks, and technical insights effectively to stakeholders.

·         8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

·         3+ years of experience managing software development teams (4–8 engineers).

·         Strong experience writing network services or asynchronous code, preferably in Rust.

·         Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize complex tasks and solve engineering challenges.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote or distributed team environments.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.

Nice-to-Haves:

·         Previous experience in trading platforms or fintech.

·         Familiarity with high-volume, low-latency systems.

·         Experience with security-focused or risk-mitigating engineering solutions.
