Senior Data Scientist (Remote - New York)

The Senior Data Scientist will work across product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and to implement scalable solutions in production systems. Accountabilities

·         Lead end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning and AI models for production systems.

·         Define project objectives, scope, methodologies, and ensure alignment with business goals.

·         Identify data-driven opportunities and develop innovative solutions to enhance decision-making.

·         Oversee model performance monitoring, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

·         Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

·         Promote best practices in data science methodologies, coding standards, and reproducibility.

·         Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

·         Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into core offerings.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or related field with 5+ years of progressive experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

·         3+ years of experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

·         3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) for ML/AI deployment.

·         3+ years of experience with supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms including regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting.

·         2+ years of experience designing, fine-tuning, and deploying GenAI models.

·         2+ years of experience leading data science projects and mentoring team members.

·         Knowledge of machine learning, commercial mortgage-backed securities, commercial real estate, commercial lending, or collateralized loan obligations is a plus.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         Competitive base salary starting at $169,541 per year.
