We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain large-scale, distributed data systems that power data-driven decisions across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to develop scalable pipelines, integrate multiple data sources, and enable analytics for business-critical applications. The position offers the opportunity to work on event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure, and advanced data platforms, impacting both internal operations and customer-facing products. Accountabilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Lead requirements gathering for product and advanced analytics initiatives, collaborating with data engineering, analytics, and stakeholder teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.
• Integrate diverse data sources, transform and normalize data, and ensure high-quality datasets for consumption by analysts and applications.
• Build distributed, event-driven data platforms supporting core business functions and new applications, including financial and HR systems.
• Apply best practices in software development, including CI/CD, testing, and secure coding.
• Participate in the design and implementation of data models, visualization solutions, and automation workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale, real-time distributed systems with strong coding, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Java or Scala is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or key-value data stores, and building data pipelines for analytics and operational consumption.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging frameworks (Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with ERP or HCM cloud solutions, accounting, or finance systems is advantageous.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in highly cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with mature engineering practices, including CI/CD, testing, and secure coding standards.
