Project Manager (Remote - California)

As Project Manager, you will play a central role in planning and executing credit union software conversions, collaborating with diverse teams and maintaining high service standards. Accountabilities:

• Lead and coordinate core software conversion projects from planning to completion, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, goals, tasks, and resource requirements in alignment with client expectations.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and conversion schedules.
• Assign and oversee responsibilities among project staff, facilitating team coordination and support.
• Monitor and track deliverables using project management tools and methodologies.
• Travel to client sites for project initiation and onsite support during conversions.
• Report on project progress and escalate significant issues to Senior Management as needed.
• Adapt to changes and implement solutions to keep projects on course.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

• 2–4 years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology or financial services sector.
• 1–2 years of experience in credit unions, banking, or fintech is a strong plus.
• Strong skills in resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and project scheduling.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable traveling to client sites and working in a client-facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical discipline, or equivalent experience through training or industry-specific instruction.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
