This role offers a strategic opportunity to define and lead the mobile architecture for a dynamic organization delivering enterprise-grade applications across iOS and Android platforms. As a Mobile Architect, you will design scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions that integrate with backend systems, ensure exceptional user experiences, and align with organizational goals. You will partner with product, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to create reference architectures, implement security and compliance best practices, and optimize performance across hybrid and native mobile platforms. This position combines technical leadership with hands-on architecture design, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation and adoption of mobile technologies. You will drive standards, best practices, and operational excellence across the mobile domain while influencing strategic decisions that impact the enterprise mobile ecosystem.

• Define and maintain the mobile enterprise architecture blueprint, covering client app layers, backend integration, and hybrid/native interoperability.
• Establish standards, reference architectures, domain models, API contracts, security controls, and data governance for mobile solutions.
• Lead architecture for new mobile initiatives, including authentication flows, offline-first patterns, push notifications, deep linking, and feature flagging.
• Architect scalable backend integrations and telemetry pipelines, ensuring observability, reliability, and performance monitoring.
• Implement security and compliance practices, adhering to standards such as OWASP MASVS, NIST, ISO 27001, and relevant regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
• Oversee mobile platform engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, app distribution, and release management.
• Optimize mobile performance, scalability, offline resilience, and resource efficiency, while defining SLAs, SLOs, and monitoring thresholds.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers, conduct design reviews, run architecture review boards, and maintain architecture documentation and tech radar.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and manage third-party SDKs, frameworks, and vendor relationships, ensuring technical risk mitigation.

• 12+ years in software engineering or architecture, with 6+ years focused on enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
• Expertise in hybrid/cross-platform frameworks (React Native or Flutter preferred) and familiarity with native iOS/Android development.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API gateways, and backend integrations.
• Experience designing secure, compliant, and scalable mobile architectures.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, automated testing, telemetry, and monitoring for mobile applications.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, security standards, and data governance for mobile systems.
• Proven experience in vendor evaluation, SDK selection, and risk management.
